I Captain the vessel “Tuna Time” with the Michigan Sport Fishing Company. I hold a 100 ton Masters Merchant Mariners License issued by the United States Coast Guard. My boat is inspected and licensed. We have all of the necessary equipment for you to enjoy your adventure on the Great Lakes.

I have well over 30 years fishing experience in some shape or form. I have fished walleyes in Minnesota, pike in Canada, sail-fish in Jamaica, sea trout and sail fish in Florida, yellowfin tuna off Oahu, halibut and salmon in Alaska, sharks in Maine, and bluegills in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. The last 20 years have been devoted to Great Lakes trolling for salmon on Lake Michigan and walleyes on Lake Erie. I have been fishing ever since I can remember.

Growing up in southern Michigan I spent my early adulthood as a cnc programmer for a prominent cutting tool company building anything that came across my desk. The more challenging the better. But as time takes its toll on every one, I chose to retire in 2022 and run the charter service I started 20 years earlier exclusively. Running a charter service is a job to some, but for me its a lifestyle. I have a great family that tolerates my time away and supports me in every way possible. When I’m not off the dock I spend time meeting clients, networking with other captains, and perfecting my fishing techniques. I even found time to write some articles last winter in between fishing trips.
