Meet The Captain

Captain John Milbourne

I Captain the vessel “Tuna Time”. I hold a 100 ton Masters License issued by the United States Coast Guard. My boat is inspected and licensed and has all the necessary equipment for you to enjoy your adventure on the Great Lakes.

I have well over 30 years fishing experience in some shape or form. I have fished walleyes in Minnesota, pike in Canada, sail-fish in Jamaica, sea trout and sail fish in Florida, yellowfin tuna off Oahu, halibut and salmon in Alaska, sharks in Maine, bluegills in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and the last 25 years have been devoted to Great Lakes trolling for salmon on Lake Michigan and walleyes on Lake Erie. I have been fishing ever since I can remember.

This twin engine boat is powered by twin crusader big blocks. She’s seaworthy comfortable and fairly economical to run so I can offer affordable fishing trips .

We carry too many rods to count – Hundreds of baits – electric down riggers – Planner boards – Speed and Temp probe – All first aid and safety equipment – Marine radio – cell phone – enclosed flush toilet – G.P.S. plotter – Sonar – Radar – A courteous Captain with a personality !
